May 17, 2010 - 10:52 pm 2 Comments

Ira is getting ready to go on a sleepover and is SO excited until his big sister points out that if he brings his teddy bear with him to the sleepover that his friend will laugh at him. Poor Ira goes back and forth all day trying to decide if he should take his teddy or not. You will love how Ira’s teddy bear eventually ends up at the sleepover and it’s not because Ira decides to take him.

This is a very cute story of a llama and his mama out for a long day of Saturday shopping. Things start out fine, but when things drag out for too long little llama loses it. The underlying story is one of patience and love and is one that all little llamas and their mamas can all relate to.

I have a passion for children’s books.  I often share the books that I particularly love on my personal website, but I wanted to have an outlet to share more.  I hope that you can find books on here that you can share with your own family.  Some may be classics that have been read and re-read for generations while others may be new.  Please share any great finds that you think other parents would also enjoy.  You can check back in each day to find what book is featured for the day.  I am looking forward to this journey in reading with you.  Happy reading…
