The Lady with the Alligator Purse by Nadine Bernard Westcott

This is a book, but you can’t read it, you have to sing it. Well, you don’t have to, but you will. This is one of those tunes that you may have sang on the playground back in the day while jumping rope or doing a hand clapping game. The best thing about this book though is when you’ve read/sang the book with your child and then you hear them the next day singing the song in the next room. It is catching and it’s a fun one to pass along.
